need advice!!! PS struck again!

Hey girls

For those of you who are familiar w/ my story you will remember that there is no love lost between me and my original PS. He was a real jerk to me when I went to try to explant. I won't get into the boring details but it is listed on "my story". Anyways... He ended up performing three operations on me within the first 3 years due to complications. I called his office a month ago asking for a pic out of my file. I wanted a "before" pic of my third operation which was for a rupture replacement. This was before my Digital camera so I didn't take any myself but he took several - about 4 different views from what I remember. Of course I got no response so two days later I showed up there w/ a friend to get the pic. they stuck us in a room and made us wait forever - came in several times acting like they were looking for the file, etc. - kept asking if I wanted to see the doc. I said "NO - I just want my picture". They came back w/ a large stack of pics - befores and afters from all the operation EXCEPT the before from that one that I wanted. I went through them and noticed this, showed them to my friend and pointed it out to the office mgr. She tired to say that maybe it was on a different file as that is around the time he went to digital so I pointed out the fact that they had the "after" from this operation - just not the before. She tried arguing this point until I pointed out my hair difference in the pic - I had hair to my waist until right before the 3rd op and you could see it in the pics. Needless to say, I left with the intention of them "finding it in their digital files" and returned two days later. They handed me a pic sealed in an env that was not the right one. At this point I would like to point out that at NO TIME in my first or second visit did they ask for an ID before they showed me pics from my file. I had not been there for 5 years and I am sure they didn't recognize me enough to know for sure. YIKES! Of course the doc wasn't there the 2nd time so I came back again 2 days after that and she started getting ugly w/ me. She made me see the doc and during our talk he admitted that he was sure he took before pics , as he always did, and maybe they were on these small micro films he had stored at his house... yuck!! he would look at them over the weekend and get it for me. I showed up yet again and no pic. They can't find it. Of course it is obvious that they have no intention of giving it to me but it pisses me off! Anybody have any ideas on my legal rights here? Sorry for the long post - I needed to vent!!
