Guest guest Posted December 24, 2008 Report Share Posted December 24, 2008 Hi everyone,I have been given the opportunity to develop some group nutrition classes for the patients in our Bariatric program at the hospital I work at. I will need to develop 4 different types of classes:1. 2-week pre-op class to review the major points of the post-op diet before they have the surgery2. 6-week post-op class when they are transitioning from the soft diet to the last phase regular foods3. 3 month post-op class4. 1 year post-op classI am very new to Bariatrics and would greatly appreciate any ideas from any of you who have developed Bariatric nutrition classes before. If any of you have power point slides you are willing to share with me I would greatly appreciate it or have suggestions for topics I should cover for these classes that would be great as I am struggling a bit with what I should cover in these classes.
