Guest guest
Oh ! That is so sad! Did you have any idea at all that you might be dealing with this prior to your diagnosis? Any glaring symptoms? It almost comes as a complete surprise to me to hear that you have this! Like my Hashimoto's--it just kinda showed up on the tests...I was very surprised! I have to wonder if these diseases are just slowly developing in us, and then finally the tests results come in positive. I think my Hashimoto's took about 4 years to manifest on tests. Celiac disease seems to be so hard to adapt to...wheat products and gluten containing products are everywhere.. oh, I feel for you ! How are you coping with it so far? I hope you are doing well! I was just trying to imagine how I would have dealt with a diagnosis like that after going on a cruise where we pigged out for 7 days. Limiting gluten containing foods would certainly be a challenge there. Hugs, Patty > I just wanted everyone to know that I have full blown celiac disease,-gluton intolerance, with high antibodies. Both blood tests came in sky high. It is a hereditary disease, but will come in or get worse by stress or physical trauma (HMMM-Implants?) Celiac disease will trigger auto immune illnesses and a array of symptoms. Beth - this ones for you- peripheal neuropathy and neurological problems, as well as " IBS " like symptoms are directly caused by celiac disease/ He says my numb and asleep feet should go away soon. It is from damage to the nerves form not getting any nutrients. However, good thing- once gluton is removed some auto immune illnesses get better or go into remission as the trigger is no longer there.
