Guest guest
Hi Inez, In 2000, Medicare paid for my explantation only...the Preoperative Diagnosis was: 1. Grade 3 bilateral capsule contracture of the breasts. 2. History of Silicone gel implants. 3. Grade 3 bilateral breast ptosis. The Postoperative Diagnoses: 1. Grade 3 bilateral capsule contracture of the breasts. 2. History of Silicone gel implants. 3. Grade 3 bilateral breast ptosis. 4. ruptured Silicone gel implants with Silicone mastopathy. Things may have changed by now and perhaps Medicare will pay for reconstruction...I don't know. Shirley webgirl72168 <webgirl@...> wrote: Has anyone gotten Medicare to pay for explanatation? If so, what asthe diagnosis that covered the surgery? Did it also coveringreconstruction without implants?Inez senRenton, WA 425-255-5543
