Guest guest
Hi Lori; You might try cutting back on the almond oil and substituting mango butter for the cocoa butter. I have found that when I am making a lotion I can put in natrasorb to absorb some of the oilness, perhaps you could add some to your lotion bar and keep the same amount for the ingredients. I have also found that if I substitute the mango butter for the shea in my lotion recipe it isn't greasy either. The natrasorb is tapioca starch which is the same as tapioca flour, you can get this at health food stores, Asian markets etc. I have never used the natrasorb in a lotion bar. The lotion bar recipe that I always is from Majestic Mountain Sage and was created by . 1.5 oz beeswax 1oz cocoa butter 1.5 oz shea butter 2 oz almond oil 1/4tsp vit. W. Meltm mix and pour into any container. I use the roll up deodorant type containers for my lotion bars. I also use a citrus essential oil for the fragrance but that is optional. The ounces in this recipe is by weight not measure. I hope this will answer your question. Raven

Guest guest
>>I also use a citrus essential oil for the fragrance but that is optional.<< Raven- Please be careful using citrus essential oils in a lotion as there may be some photosensitivity issues. Just something to keep in mind. Marilyn
Guest guest
I know it's probably been posted umpteen times, but could someone send me the lotion bar recipe, pretty please? I need to make a basket tonight for someone I work with, and won't have time to rummage through all my materials. I REALLY need to get organized!!
