Guest guest
Recently I have had a few vegetarians (various degrees) having gastric bypass and some who have decided to swing more that way after surgery. There is a list of protein content of foods in the files section. However, I wondered if anyone had a handout they would be willing to share which addressed specific issues pertaining to GBP vegetarians. For example, many patients do not tolerate rice, pasta or bread which is often referenced in vegetarian material to combine with beans for complete proteins. Gas with beans, B12, iron, etc. I have a student working on this project, so if you have bits and pieces, she can " pull it all together " and we can post it. Thanks in advance Sue
