Getting them out this week -- Tuesday. Morning. I keep hearing about how it can take hours and hours -- but, I don't want it to take hours -- and hours -- makes me nervous. I guess they have to do what they have to do. Really don't have much of a choice at this point. Everyone must know at some point or another, they must remove them or change them out. Nothing lasts forever!

Kate, when are you getting them out? (day/time)

I'll be praying for you. You'll be fine! It is scary, but you're

doing the right thing.

Love ya.

Kate:

Best wishes on your long awaited upcoming explant.

If you don't mind sharing, who's your PS? We need to know about as many good PS out there as possible.

Take Care,

Good luck on your explant on tuesday. I will say a prayer for you.

Don't be nervous. It will be fine and you will be so glad to have

those nasty things out of your body and to know that you will soon be

moving into a better phase in your life---healing. Let us know how

things went. I didn't have silicone implants but my surgery didn't

last long at all and went very well. Hopefully yours will too.

Hugs, kathy

More explant questions from you experience ladies.....

When you first get out of the surgery, are you wrapped in a bandage of some kind? Does it make you look really flat??? I'm just wondering if it will be obvious to others......And, one time I read something someone had written about how you should always have your explant done in a hospital setting -- Dr. Feng does not do that -- and she is doing my explant. She's in a clinic, in her own setting. Is that o.k.?? Why should it be a hospital? Did most of you have yours done in a clinic or a hospital?

Thanks for the info! K.

Hi. Dr. Fengs facilities are top notch. I don't think there is

anything to worry about there. She is very conscientious about your

health. Also, yes, I did look very very flat--actually concave. I

cried. However,I was very flat before implants. Other women haven't

seemed to notice as dramatic of difference. The bandages make you

feel flatter too. But most of it is from your own tissue being

compressed by the implant all that time. I had my implants eleven

years. I am now about the size I was prior to implant. It took

several weeks for my breasts to start looking like they had before I

ever had any surgeries. You are in good hands with Dr. FEng.

Make certain if you want a lift, that you INSIST upon it, you don't wan t to come out saggy and have to go back a second time and have more downtime, costs and firther risks.LMPACCOAST@... wrote:
