Guest guest
Thanks for clearing that up Shari -- that helps! It's great to hear from others that have experience. When you are up and out from the explant -- are you strapped in a bandage? Does it look really obvious for days - ? That you are flat? I never told friends I had implants and I'm just wondering if they will see a drastic difference......Did you?
Guest guest
OK - Explant..from..shari. This was just my experience: As far as looks go - I guess I will be honest in that I looked pretty flat after explant as I was extremely flat before. Yes, I had to wear bandages for several days w/ ace wrap and then sports bras pretty much like after implanting which made it look worse. My implants were not that large - about 250cc, but since I was so flat chested naturally it would be hard to say it wasn't noticeable. Pretty much all of my friends and family knew about the surgery so it wasn't too weird except for going back to work.... I actually tucked nursing pads in my sportsbras and wore loose clothes/layers for the first few weeks while healing so the difference didn't look too obvious to coworkers. Once they "fluff" you can buy the wonder bras, water bras, and the little inserts will put me about where I was with the implants. NowI I can get the look without the poison inside of me. I am sure others can offer other side of the story as the circumstances differ for each explant - size before, skin tone, age, size of implants, lift requiring, etc you never know!! I wish you the best and good luck and prayers are with you! shari
Guest guest
Were you in a lot of pain? Did your surgeon use drains, after? How hard are they? Thank you for sharing -- it is so hard with the unknown! I'm nervous -- about the before, the during and the after!!! I've gotten so use to having them -- after 20 years!!! Guest guest
- HI. I was not in any pain at all. THe drains were not a big deal. We actually travelled to niagra falls while I was waiting for the days to pass to get the drains out. Hugs, kathy -- In , PACCOAST@a... wrote: > Were you in a lot of pain?
