OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD FOR CANDIDA/DETOX, ETC

I've been taking the capsules (from Swanson) for about a year with no

side effects, and THAT'S saying a lot, because I'm allergic to so

many meds and VERY chemically sensitive. I just ran out a couple of

weeks ago and been thinking how I'd better get back on them. Also,

Acidophilous capsules and Pro-Bacti capsules are supposed to help

with Candida overgrowth (I get those from Swanson, also). I dunno

about the rest of you ladies, but CANDIDA has been an on-going

problem since implantation. The Olive Leaf Extract (first read about

it via Dr.Helen Pensanti), the Acidophilus, and the Pro-Bacti have

definitely helped combat it. Dr Mercola has some Probiotic Bacteria

tablets available thru his website, I think from Garden of Life (or

Tropical Traditions, who has the virgin coconut oil) that is

supposed to be very good against candida. I got some but haven't

tried it yet. Been using up the Swanson stuff first- Speaking of the

virgin coconut oil, I read a few comments about it maybe changing

some cholesterol readings or something. Dr Mercola sure recommends

it, and it makes ANYTHING you fry in it taste SUPERB! One of my goals

is to get a whole chicken to cut up and fry in the coconut oil. I bet

it will be HEAVENLY! I NEVER fry chicken anymore, maybe twice in 5

years or so, but I do want to try it with the coconut oil, just for a

treat. I did fry some pork chops in the coconut oil when I first got

it. Here again, I NEVER fry pork chops anymore, because of the

typical frying no no's, along with trying to avoid pork (which I

LOVE). They were SOOOOOOOO fine! The coconut oil just lends a

fabulous flavor to anything fried in it, but be careful, seems to

burn more quickly. I tried eating plain, solid coconut oil for a

couple of weeks, but it was a bit hard on my already ailing stomach.

It's also supposed to be good for ridding varmints from your insides,

i.e. worms. Pumpkin seeds are also good for that. Saxton has

some good-sounding formulas for de-worming and detoxing, but they're

a bit pricey. Didn't mean to ramble- Have a good week ahead, ladies!
