Guest guest
I think that is so awesome you guys are able to do these things, MTV and all. I wish I could get someone to be interested in my story, as I think I have a pretty damned good story to tell. Esp with the way I am now able to work out and all. I really think that it is too bad they assume 40 is too old. Look at the way they promote Tom Cruise movies on MTV and he is older than me! Hee hee, the age thing tends to work against us more as females than as males doesn't it. I think I would surprise them as I certainly am in shape for a 40 year old. Probably could kick some of their younger little butts in the work out area hee hee. Anyhow some day I will find someone interested in me. I was thinking of trying Montel . Has anyone written to him yet? In , halvey70@a... wrote: > colleen > > I thought that story was so wonderful!!! Guest guest
Hey Shari! Mtv was here about a month ago, I guess. It was hectic (I'm SURE you know about that), but fun. I'm glad I got to do it and I can't wait til it airs, although I'm a little nervous about it! Liz was a trip! We've been emailing back and forth getting pictures together and stuff and she was talking about coming back into town to hang out with my friends (that were with me the whole time they were here) and me. She is funny. Do you know yet when yours will air. I think she said some time in January? Colleen > colleen > > I thought that story was so wonderful!!! Guest guest
Colleen, That is so exciting that other publications have contacted you for your story! You go girl, I am really proud of you! I know you are making a difference in women's lives by your willingness to speak out. Don't ever stop! How are you doing? Are things settling down for you? Are you feeling any better? I hope your recent change in circumstances hasn't set you back... Hugs, Patty > Thanks to everyone who replied about the Memphis Flyer story. I think > it turned out well too.
