Dear all,

Some time ago we were discussing about vit D requirements after surgery. Some one showed a paper about differents dosis that were tested in these patients. Please, could you posted it back for me?? I need it for a session I'm doing for my Hospital program!!

Thank you all!

Revival Soy makes many flavors of protein powder and is available without sweetener, with artificial sweetener or with sugar. They seem to be well received by patients.

[bariatricNutrition Dietitians] protein powder-no milk

Hi All,

Thank you very much for all of your wonderful responses I had on protein shakes with Lap Band! I find this list serve extremely beneficial!

I do have another question that I was hoping someone could help me with. I have a patient who is allergic to milk products and can't consume any products that are manufactured in a facility that processes milk either. I have scanned through numerous protein shakes/powders and can't seem to find one that doesnt have milk. Does anyone know of any? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

LaFleur RD, LD
