Guest guest
Karla, this person would be GREAT to have in the " inner sanctum " of the true tradtional foods. Give her the opportunity to experience our raw milk world. While not all DOs are holistically-oriented, they are light-years ahead of the typical out-of-the-box MD. They are less indoctrinated by the drug cartel and, like modern chiropractors, they are exposed to alternatives while in school. I think we are STARVED for more medical professionals knowledgeable about traditional foods. Let's help this one in every way we can. In another week or two I will be helping people in the cities get more direct access to good foods like these dairy products. First of all, give her the connection to this group. Once she gets on board, she can select a dairy from our FILES (Dairies We Like), and get connected herself. I've found that people who are willing to work hard to get good food are the ones that are real. If they begin whining immediately about how hard it is, then it won't ever work out anyway. I understand your initial caution, BUT this is exactly the person we need on our team. I encourage everyone here to reach out to health professionals that want to learn about real nutrition! Especially if they want to do it " first hand " or with their own family. Will

Guest guest
Karla, We also see Dr. Heidi (), and my impression of her is that she is about as far outside " the system " as a licensed physician can be and still be a licensed physician. As you mentioned, she is a strong proponent of extended breast-feeding, homebirth (had a couple herself, and attended many), non-vaxing (she doesn't vax her own children). And in general, in my experience anyway, she acts more like a fellow human-being than a mighty doctor dispensing advice and cures from on high. If you get my meaning. For what it is worth, I would feel comfortable sharing raw milk, and other trad. food, resources with her. She's a very cool person, in my opinion, and excellent with children. Our few visits with her have really been rather like social visits and not scary, clinical encounters as it can often seem. Just my 2¢. Peace, Genie > OK, so I went and saw Dr. Heidi Anerson, DO with my daughter. Guest guest
Hi, I'm a newbie to the group. Where is Dr. Heidi ? I'd be interested in her services, if she is conveniently located.
