This is what we have requested for post-op too. This is for all LAGB, RYGB, and SG. Guest guest Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Posted November 25, 2008 For our gastic bypass and roux-en-y patients: If a patient is taking a MVI or Iron supplement before surgery does anyone recommend them to hold iron until 2 weeks post-operative for risk of infection and slow healing??
