What's for Breakfast?

Today, I made an incredible breakfast...I sauteed some organic

mushrooms in some olive oil and butter with some chopped garlic. After

it cooked a bit, I threw in some fresh organic spinach. I then used

some farm fresh eggs to make an omelet out of the mixture.

Meanwhile I seasoned a package of Jan's (Bellasol Organics) beef

tenderloin steaks with salt and pepper and seared the pieces on each

side in a hot cast iron pan which I then placed in the oven for a just

a few minutes at about 350 and then turned it off until we were ready

to eat. All I can say is WOW, Jan! No ketchup necessary!

This meal is ideal for protein types like me and my oldest daughter.

I can't pull this off every day, but this will really get us started

off on the right foot today!

Yesterday, we had soaked oatmeal and homemade turkey sausage. This

doesn't work as well for me. I can handle it if I don't put any sweet

stuff on my oatmeal. I just use lots of butter and cream.
