Looking For Raw Milk in Maple Grove

I am looking for a raw milk availability in Maple Grove for a friend. Might

there be a drop site nearby? I looked through the database of Dairy Farms and

didn't see exactly what I am looking for. But I will try a few farms to get

more informaion direct. Do you know of a group of people who take turns driving

to MVV or Sweetland and need another person to rotate?

Jenni,

Did someone already contact you off list? Alvin Schlangen (of citrus and

chicken fame) does weekly deliveries to the Cities. I think one of his stops is

in Maple Grove. He is on this list.

There are run groups to MVV and Sweetland as well. I feel as if I am behind

on the news of the North-based group to MVV. Jeff Grotte is the coordinator of

that, I believe, and he is on this list too. Coincidentally he also lives in

Maple Grove! There is a run group for Sweetland but that is based in the south

suburbs. That dairy is seasonal so there is no fresh milk available currently.

Were you aware of the Hartmann Dairy (formerly MOMs)? They deliver

weekly to the Cities, but I don't know their current roster of delivery

dropsites in the Cities and if they are taking on new customers.
