Like you with the thyroid medication,I was wrongfully put on synthroid and my hair fell out for 8 weeks just being on it for five days.I was on HGH for 7 months, my hair began to fall out 2.5 month after being on the drug. I should have never been on the drug.These are examples of ATE--Acute Telogen Effluvium.

CTE is Chronic Telogen Effluvium--this is what Dimonds has.

The cause of CTE, statistically speaking is low iron, hormone imbalances though sometimes it's autoimmune.
