We have changed quite a few things since attending the Sally Fallon event in June at MVV. We switched to raw milk; from which I make kefir and yogurt; I successfully weaned my children from breakfast cereal [i still get a bit of grief for that], and I cured my chronic heartburn problem by eating sauerkraut and kimchi. Our biggest challenge has been changing my husband's eating habits. He is a pilot and often has little control over when and what he eats. Yesterday, breakfast in the cockpit was a candy bar, a ham sandwich, chips and an apple, served with a frown by the equally grouchy flight attendant. Airport food and hotel rooms in the middle of no-where create a difficult scenario for eating healthy.
