Guest guest
Dear Amy, What labs are you checking pre-op and post-op for lap band patients to see their vitamin and mineral status? Drakopoulou, RD, MSc
Guest guest
We check all of our bariatric patients at 3 months and 12 months post-op for bloodwork. If there are any problems, we supplement or make changes and then re-check after 8 weeks. Hope that helps, Virginia From: Amy Gehrig <gehrigamy@...>Subject: Lab protocol for Lap Band patients Date: Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 9:04 PM What is the protocol for checking vitamin/mineral status for a lap band patient?
