Curious if anyone else is participating in the TOGA study currently.

We are in the beginning stages of getting ready for it and recruiting

patients.

Already today our research coordinator has called me update nutrition

requirements for the study, even changing from the protocol I received

Just looking to see if anyone has some insight to the process or will

be participating as well to communicate with.

Thanks,

We are also participating in the TOGa study. TOGa stands for trans

oral gastroplasty. It is a restrictive weight loss procedure that

uses a non surgical method of stapling the stomach to create a small

pouch. It utilizes a device that enters the stomach through the

esophagus and eliminates any cutting or opening into the abdomen.

The study is providing very general nutrition recommendations and I

agree that they need to be updated and approved to better support

patient outcomes. If you would like to discuss thoughts on this I

think that would be great!
