Guest guest
WI DATCAP is going to register premises for NAIS against people's will for them. This is their solution to getting people to register their property with the US Government (YES, it is NOT a WI premise number, but a FEDERAL NAIS ASSIGNED #) Against our will, all farms will have a federal ID number! There is a meeting on Jan 10 in Eau 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Department of Natural Resources West Central Region Headquarters 1300 W. mont Avenue – Room 158 Eau , WI 54701 In Madison: Tuesday, January 8, 2008 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection 2811 Agriculture Drive, First Floor – Room 106 (Boardroom) Madison, Wisconsin 53718 And Appleton: Monday, January 7, 2008 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Fox Valley Technical College 1825 N. Bluemound Drive, Room A160 Appleton, WI 54912 Please come and defend your right to REAL food. This is only the first step. NAIS (individual identification and trace movements of every single animal in the country including Horses, chickens and fish) ABSOLUTELY requires a premise ID for their DATA BASE to work. This is the first step and it is USELESS with out implementing the next control step (individual animal identification in the national herd). The need to know, track, and accumulate this information is necessary for large corporation and commodity traders to manipulate the food prices in a commodity only –meaning no direct farm sales- market. As they eliminate the local farmers from offering non- commercial foods, they will insure their profits and trading positions globally through total elimination of choice and total knowledge of aggregate pounds of meat being produced at exactly what ages and locations. These people are not dumb, they have read the science reports, and they are financially vested in the pharmaceutical and medical establishment which treats sick people. They understand the growing knowledge base of what cheap, commercial food has done to our health and they know there will be a huge surge in demand for real food, as people continue to learn more. They cannot stop the consumers; there are millions of them, but only a small handful of farmers willing to provide real food, even at a financial loss. Why is it not illegal for you to buy raw milk, uninspected pastured meat, unpastureized apple juice, raw almonds, etc; but illegal for the farmer to sell them? Last time I checked illegal drugs can not be sold or possessed. Because there are too many of you but only a few farmers that are standing in their way of total market control. They have been trying to close down those farmers for years by making the sale and processing regulations so exorbitant that the cost of REAL food would be so high, no one could buy any. But, the farmers did not all co-operate. Many, especially new hopeful farmers (such as myself) and older believer's in the old school have been willing to subsidize the forced government excess cost with their own incomes! All REAL FOOD farmers are losing money, but are keeping prices marginally affordable by subsidizing their livelihoods with off-farm jobs, retirement pay, inherited land and equipment, and allowing their families to live in poverty conditions. No person likes to admit this, we still have pride, but we all know this is true. It is an accepted FACT of farming. This tenacity and passion of the REAL FOOD farmers to bring REAL food to the public, even at their own expense is fueling the next attack against the REAL food farms. NAIS will create a " NATIONAL HERD " belonging to the Government, monitored by technology and under continuous observalence by satellites via radio transmitting chips implanted in the animals of all REAL FOOD farmers. Any farmers wishing to cross over to conventional raising and go into CAFO (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations) will be allowed to reduce their costs by using just one scan bar on the entire lot or house of animals. OF COURSE, the industry will not increase their costs significantly to get rid of these small farmers and take control of the futures market in commodities. So if you want to join them, your costs will go down. If not, you will be driven out by continuing to set the obstacles so high and the approval so subjective, that even those with the highest off-farm incomes among us will not be able to continue absorbing the loss. (Can you see a private ranch with $100 steaks for those at the very, very top to have an elite club where one can purchase grassfed healthy products for themselves while the rest of us suffer in degenerative sicknesses?) The fight and the REASON you need to show up at these meetings is NOT to protect the poor farmers, we are only a few, mostly college educated and even if not, very capable of doing very well in another career, but because IT IS YOUR FOOD CHOICE THAT WILL BE ELIMINATED! If I have a farm, I can raise my own one cow or chicken without too much interference, even if I break the law and refuse these chips, although risky with fines being set at $1,000 per day! But let me try to sell just one steak, gallon of milk, or chicken to another person and that is what they are targeting to wipe out all REAL FOOD. IT IS THE NON-FARMER CONSUMER THAT WILL HAVE NO CHOICE IN WHAT IS DIGESTED BY THEMSELVES OR THEIR CHILDREN. There are few of us, many of you – COME AND FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO REAL FOOD! And don't be fooled, this is NOT a Wisconsin issue! This is the first state that was bought with over 2 million dollars to start the FEDERAL PREMIS IDs. This is NOT a WI database, it is the federal one, all other states are getting ready to implement this, along with all the industries that stand to gain from this. ~Jan
