Guest guest
May, my daughter Gabi has congenital scoliosis and I posted a week or so ago about her waking up with either her hands or her feet hurting. Once she even complained that both her index fingers hurt. She is also going through a period of not being able to get to sleep at night and being irritable and tired during the day. She has gotten the sleep problem ever since she was an infant every so often. No doctor can seem to tell me what it is about. If I call her neurosurgeon I fear he will ask for another MRI, that would be my guess about extremity pain, that it is somehow to do with the spinal cord. Gabi just had an MRI in July though. Has your daughter had an MRI? They say that congenital scoliosis is not supposed to cause pain, if there is pain there is something else going on? If her curve is severe, maybe there are some nerves being pressed on. Has she had any problems with wetting herself? Or tripping and falling, or vision? I can tell you that I just got Gabi her xray and her curve did get a little worse. Hope you can find some answers
