Guest guest
We just sent off an email today to the Washington DC WAPF chapter leader seeking a WAPF member that would be willing to feed and house our 16 year old son for three weeks this summer at a ballet school in DC. He is so excited about the ballet opportunity, but is concerned about nutrition since he tends to feel ill after eating at restaurants or friends' houses. This request reminded me of another nonprofit organization my wife and I have been a part of for the last two decades. The nonprofit has an understanding that when fellow members are traveling through their town, they open their home up as a place to stay overnight. As we plan our next family vacation, we are looking ahead to raw milk and other WAPF nutrition options since we have noticed that moods go down hill on vacation when eating mainstream food. We would like to open our home near Stillwater to travelers wanting to enjoy WAPF nutrition. Does anyone know if this practice is already in place with WAPF members elsewhere in the US? Is there a network in place?
