Shari,

You are so right. I tell everyone, even store clerks,I will bring

it up. About six months ago I was telling a sales girl at a store

about what had happened to me and she told me that a friend of hers

had been so sick for over a year and she had implants. You know that

she called her right there on the spot and had me talk to her. I

always met a man on a blind date and I even told him. Would you

believe he had a friend at work who he thought was sick because she

had gained so much weight after getting implants (over 50 pounds in

a year) that he asked if I would talk to her. (which I did).

You never know how your illness will help someone else.

We all need to spread the word. Let everyone we know and meet learn

from us. We are planting seeds in the minds of the furture victims.

-I find that happens to me too. If I mention I got sick from the

implants, it is like 'someone always knows someone' who is sick. BUT

I feel like I do not mention it to enough to people. Like none of my

boyfriend's friends know, or anyone new I meet. It seems like it is

too hard just explaining what this illness is to people. I usually

say I have a 'Lupus type condition'. Even then, half the people look

at me cock-eyed. Maybe I should just start telling everyone about

the implants? What do you think? On the other hand, I dont' like

people knowing my personal business. Just some thoughts here. TERRY
