You could probably claim malpractice if the doctor knew the valves

were defective and put them in anyway, also if they caused physical

harm during the procedure. Your attorney will probably pull all

your medical records and have a medical expert review them. Based

on that, then they'll most likely decide which way to tackle it. If

your valves were defective and you have proof of that, then most

likely you will have a product liability case. Check on the statues

for your state and make sure you file before they run out. Your

statue begins when you knew or should have known it was the implants.
