Guest guest
I feel the same way hearing from you ! You've come a long way and have learned so much...very valuable experiences that we can all benefit from. By the way, have you gotten hold of any of your blood tests yet? Anything that we can post to show how you've improved? What I did was get a three ring binder--(and this is thanks to Pam who showed us her organizational skills in Idaho!)--and got some of those sheet protectors to put all my medical records in. I put them in date order, from beginning of implant, to explant, to all the follow up blood work. Now, it is at my fingertips when I need to refer back to it or compare results. It's great! I got a second three ring binder and put all of my detox info in it, organized with Divider tabs by titles such as Acid/Alkaline Balance, Body for Life program, Dental info, Fasting, Glycemic Index values, 7 Day Detox diet, Liver Cleanse, Silicone Protocol, Thyroid info, etc. I just printed charts and lists off the internet, or typed my own, and that also is at my fingertips when I need it. (And I do refer to this stuff often!) It was Pam's idea, and it works great! Patty > Aesome Patty! You are so informative! I love your posts! > > > MINERALS: The Body's Electrical System > by Gloria Gilbere, ND, :DA, Hom., PhD > In this age of readily available global information, it is still confusing for both patient and doctor when they read articles about vitamin, mineral and electrolyte replacements. Many argue that you if you eat right you shouldn't need supplements. This attitude exists because of the confusion between diet and nutrition. Our diet is the total sum of what we consume; nutrition is the benefits of what we consume. > > Equally important to what we eat is how our body utilizes and excretes it. > > Only recently have minerals received the press they deserve. The following are example of body system disorders (short circuits) that are either caused by, or affected by mineral deficiencies and imbalances: > * Cardiovascular > *Gastrointestinal > *Muscular > *Skeletal > *Neurological > *Immune > *Endocrine > > (Patty notes, every single one of these is seen in breast implant victims, isn't it?) > > OUT OF SYNC: The Consequences > Minerals do not work alone; they work in synchronicity (in balance ) with one another, as well as with the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, fats and vitamins. > > When one mineral is excessive, it steals from others--causing a chain reaction of deficiencies. > > It's important to note that the brain stores trace minerals in various sectors. An abnormal concentration or imbalance among these minerals can affect psychological functions, including emotions, memory, perception, learning and behavior. > > I personally experienced the effects of minerals that were " out of sync. " After my life-threatening accident, the prescription drugs that saved my life almost took it, and left me with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, Leaky Gut Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Fatigue. > > I share my story hoping it will help you on the road to quality health, naturally. -Dr. G > (She wrote a book called " I was Poisoned by my Body...)********* > > A second thought I have on this is to make sure you are getting a good amount of essential fatty acids in your diet. Those myelin sheaths that cover the nerves need cholesterol and good, quality fats. I know a low fat diet is all the rage, but I believe that we need to focus on getting good fats, like from organic butter, raw milk, and free range meats. Notice I didn't say an overload of them, but a good, judicious quantity. Our body needs fats for shiny hair, supple skin and hormones! > > And also, think about it...silicone granules are used in commodities to dry them up, isn't it? (Ever see those packets of silicone granules in a shoe box?) Scary stuff... > > Okay, that's just my two cents... > Patty
