I know they have 30 days to respond if we send a clean claim. I know it falls under Prompt Pay laws but I cannot find the exact statue and number. Can anyone help? Also there used to be law for Processing and Claims delay specifically for chiropractors but talking with a gentleman named Dennis at the OR Insurance Divisionstated ours must have fallen off the list as we did not stay on top of keeping the rule active. Can anyone speak to this?It was OR 743A. Also there is now an on-line compliant form for medical providers to submit complains about insurance companies. We must be able to prove it is interfering with providingthough and even from there, the OR Insurance division only has regulation powers over 20% of the ins co in OR. All military, federal state and independent companies areexempt from the Insurance Divisions regulational powers.... just good FYI information. Please let me know if you have any of these specific statues. Thanks so much.
