Guest guest
Hi : Wow, sounds like Spencer is going to be a big guy! Our doctor mentioned that there are two hurdles ahead, both linked to major growth spurts..at puberty like Spencer, Adam and and at about age 6. They said that if we can get him past the 6 growth spurt (he's 4 and 1/2 now) without major surgery then we should be on a slower rate of change to 12. They're checking him for signs of scoliosis every visit...do your children have it? We are trying the vitamin C with Gavin and using its benefits as an argument in favour of morning oj and grapefruit (anything that will get him to eat properly!). Cheers and thanks...its so great to be able to speak with other parents and helps so much. Sally
Guest guest
Hi Sally, No my kids do not have scoliosis as of yet. I only have a touch of it. Crossing fingers they won't have that on top of everything else. Early diagnosis is key to correcting it. So if they do get it, it won't develop to far.
