Dr. Sahenk (of NT-3 for CMT) at Neuropathy Conference 2005

The Neuropathy Association 2005 Conference will be held in Minneapolis, begining

May 19 and will feature Dr. Zarife Sahenk (and her pioneering work on the CMT

NT-3 treatment trials. She will speak on " Advances in Regenerative Medicine " .

(The Neuropathy Association provided a grant for Dr. Sahenk's NT-3 work. Also of

note, Dr. Gareth Parry, CMT doctor will speak on " Inflammatory Neuropathies " .

Other interesting speaker topics include " Spirituality and Healing - Using

Meditation as Stress Relief. "

National Neuropathy Week, May 16-20, which the Neuropathy Association received a

(USA) national governmental proclamation. The Neuropathy Association has been

instrumental in obtaining lobbyists on Capitol Hill to acquire more governmental

funds for peripheral neuropathy and has been successful. This Conference is the

only nationally approved neuropathy conference.
