Guest guest
School complaint. The duty aide locked the gate 3 mins early. My husband works at the school and unlocked the gate to let my kids in. No other kids saw this. The reason he did unlock the gate was so Adam didn't have to go up the office steps. The kids were not late to school but the duty aide saw my husband unlock the gate and gave demerits. Then she went and told the Principal to try to get my husband in trouble. I went into the office and had a chat with the Principal. I explained about the steps and he seemed to understand. He is taking 's demerits away today. But it really upset me about this duty aide. My kids can't just run to catch up. Adam fell down just trying to get to his Dad in a hurry. So yesterday even 3 mins was a big deal. NOT to mention that in California you have to have wheel chair access and this school locks the wheel chair access so to get into the office you have to use the steps. Think I should call the ADA? They have a whole class of handicapped kids that could benefit from that ramp. ***Yep, call ADA, file a formal complaint too. ~ G
