Guest guest
I think I must have gotten in to this after some other discussion, so I hope I don't repeat anything. I rode bicycles extensively as a child, teen and young adult. I may have been able to learn, before the CMT began to reduce my balance. I could keep up with other kids for a short time, but on longer trips, I would fall behind. It did give me a sense of freedom and " normalcy, " though. Have you considered a recumbent bike? They're easier to pedal and he may feel more secure being lower to the ground. They are expensive and I'm not sure if they come in child sizes. Guest guest
Hi Jim: Great idea! I know someone with CMT who has said she was considering one as an adult. I don't know if they do come small, but one would think it would be an option. We'll check it out Thanks Sally
