Guest guest
Hi Willow, Keep pushing for answers, you know your body better than any one else... I sent some links of that machine you were talking about... I don't know if that is what your connector pads are for, if not let me know what they are called and I will look for them ) Keep us updated... ((( Caring Hugs )))Helen Dear Helen,Thanks, the URL gave me a good sense of what WRAP is.There were times in my life where I didn't have itwritten down or formalized, but had my own copingmechanism that sounds much like this. I think thatgiving people guidelines or an example is probablyvery helpful.I am going through a time in my life where I am beingvery proactive with my physicians due to an unknownlump in my neck and my history of thyroid cancer X3.No one really knows what it is so they 'watch' it. Notgood enough in my book. I am also going throughlidocaine injections in tender points from thefibromyalgia made worse by scoliosis. I am pushing fora trial of lidocaine patches to supplement monthlyinjections. I'm also trying to find a way to useelectric current to reduce pain. I used to have agalvonic stimulator - similar to TENS unit butstronger, with direct current. No one in this area isfamiliar with it so they think I am mistaken and I hada tens unit. I'm putting together a packet of info totake to the pain doc next appointment. One reasonpeople may not want to know about galvonic stimulatoris that they cost about 20% of what a TENS unit does.I'm having no luck finding a source and a price forthe connector pads.We are all working in one way or another to improveour world. Even this list is a positive step -connecting with people instead of suffering inisolation and sharing info where you both give andreceive help.; )Willow "When life's problems seem overwhelming, look around and see what other people are coping with. Guest guest
Dear Helen, Thank you so much for all the info you have looked up for me. It was really good. I'm going to call the supplier of the first article you sent me. It refers to their electrode pads as blue pads. I always had to have 2 active pads and a grounding pad. I'll talk to them and see what they have. Thank you so much!!!
