A mother brought a 4-y/o male for evaluation and tx of occipital HA’s. During the history she stated that his complaints are worse in the morning and wonders if there are pillows for kids. Hmmmm. Never considered that. Does anyone have input regarding cervical pillows for kids?

I don't know of any pediatric-specific pillows, but I generally recommend a small pillow (like a travel pillow) for small kids. I think it's terrible that people don't take into consideration the fact that their kid's head is jacked up on a giant adult

pillow. If they're a stomach sleeper I recommend no pillow. If only a back sleeper you could recommend a roll (like a hand towel rolled up to go in their cervical lordosis. ...Just seems like the cervical spine should be in neutral as much as possible while

sleeping.
