Guest guest
Did anyone read the "Germans Confused Over U.S. Healthcare Debate?" It says Germany's "mostly" GOVERNMENT RUN health care system has a 5.28 BILLION DOLLAR SURPLUS! (Germany boasts the oldest and most successful government run health care system in Europe). So, I did some quick research. German's spent 47 billion dollars on prescription medication in 2010, and 160 billion on total health care in 2010. Conversely...American's spent 307 billion ON PRESCRIPTION DRUGS ALONE (almost twice as much as Germany spends on all health care). And, do you know what American's spent on total "health care" in 2010? Are ya ready...? 2.6 TRILLION!!! America spends 16 times more money on health care than Germany!
