Read the Minger response...spot on. Observational studies with author bias. Eaters of "red meat" also least likely to take vitamins, exercise... And this all relies on the subject remembering what they ate. Not good science! Not sure if this is OT or not, but the media has been beating the "Meat is death" drum all week with some fairly alarming statistics. Here are a few writers who have been looking closer at the meaning of the Harvard study, which showed a correlation between meat consumption and death. One of them is Portland's own Minger! http://www.marksdailyapple.com/will-eating-red-meat-kill-you/#axzz1p6tQGc1phttp://garytaubes.com/2012/03/science-pseudoscience-nutritional-epidemiology-and-meat/Best,The Fat Apologist, Lindekugel, DCConcordia Chiropractic CenterPortland Or. 97211
