Dear Candy,

I had the same problems growing up poor speech, tripping over everything. And I

could never go with out breaking a glass once a week. I have CMT Type 2A this

type is very specific so don't take this literal.

Type 2A affects swallowing and breathing as well as lower extremities. If that

is all he is doing right now he will lead a normal life that's if he has it.

My problem was that I was adopted and had no idea so I smoked and drank. then

The Navy told me I had it when I was 22. I am now 32 and have a 3 yr old son who

has Type 2. His speech is bad and he drops everything and his feet are in

constant pain along the arches same place I had it.
