Guest guest Posted March 16, 2012 Report Share Posted March 16, 2012 My secretary just got off of the phone with an adjuster after faxing all the intake records on a brand new patient. Patient was involved in a minor fender bender, suffered mild-mod sprain of low back and tailbone. Adjuster told secretary that due to the minor body damage to vehicle and low speed of impact, an IME would be ordered if treatment surpassed 1 month!!! She doesn’t even have any bills yet, only seen the patient once. I’m not making this up. Seems EVERY PIP patient coming through the door right now. Coming to a practice near you. ph Medlin D.C.
