,

Neurontin is a non-narcotic anti-epileptic, non-morphine based medication that

works on GABA in the brain to quiet nerve activity. Oxycontin is a narcotic

medication, as you know. After back surgery one of the visiting nurses had

ordered me Oxycontin, I took 2 and after researching more on it, concluded I

must get off it right away. As I began to heal, I needed less and less

medication and even coming off Percocet was very hard and required a great

amount of discipline, but I had to do it, I set goals and within 3 months was

narcotic free. Ask your doctor about Neurontin for your use and to help detox of

Oxycontin if needed.
