Guest guest
Ian, NAET has allowed my daughter to eat anything she wants without consequence and has helped her overcome her environmental allergies as well. We use it in combination with homeopathy. Finding a competent practitioner is the key. Guest guest
I agree that getting a competent practitioner is key. Guest guest
Hi Ian, What is your interest in NAET? Have you had any direct experience with them? Guest guest
Hello Lenny, No, I had never heard of them until the OT who works with my 8 year old son (ASD) told me to check them out. He has suffered terribly with allergies and although his biomed program has helped, still has to take a daily dose of Singular. Since finding out about aspartame (sp?) in the chewable variety I've switched to granules. However, the prolonged use of the drug bothers me and would like to at least research a homeopathic approach. Hence the enquiry. Thank you to all who relied. I will look into them further. -- Best regards, Ian mailto:cuncomm@... Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 1:03:49 AM, you wrote: s> Hi Ian, s> What is your interest in NAET? Guest guest
Hi , Would you mind telling me more about the homeopathy/NAET? I started vitamins with both of my kids thru a DAN Dr. 2 months ago. My daughter is doing the Nystatin tx. She made nice progress removing dairy from her diet and even better progress after starting supplements. So I progressed onto treat the yeast, using probiotics also. Well both kids developed dark circles under their eyes, so I worried the vitamins were toxic to them knowing they both have unhealthy guts. My daughter is also having regression with the yeast treatment (skin rashes, sore, cracking lip, and behavior problems). I question if I am doing the right thing? I recently found reversingautism.com and this lady () really got me thinking about taking a more natural method to clear my kids. I am about 99% positive they both have mercury poisoning. They both have lots of health issues (asthma, eczema, GI problems, ear surgeries, along with learning disabilities being autism, dyslexia, auditory processing disorder, sensory issues). I feel desperate to help them, but want to make sure I do the right thing-since I allowed all of this to happen to them in the first place. I read the NAET website and am thinking if this is as good as it sounds, I could go get trained. I am a RN and think I have a local Chiro that would be interested. The nearest practitioners are 2 hours away from my home. Thanks in advance for any info. you have to share. I am so thankful for the listserves as I am learning so much and finally feeling like I can help my kids. from WI Re: NAET Ian, NAET has allowed my daughter to eat anything she wants without consequence and has helped her overcome her environmental allergies as well. Guest guest
Les Feinberg or others, What do you know about this technique? http://www.naet.com/subscribers/what.html s. fuchs dc
Guest guest
Hi Sharron, I practiced it for 12 years until 10 years ago. Did a couple of presentations at their yearly convention. It is moderately effective for food and environmental allergies. It typically takes a lot of sessions. The system is a really simple, approach to psychoenergetic medicine with little informational content and so little opportunity to make broad changes in physiology. Still, a lot of people have been helped with NAET and its simple enough that lots of DCs and acupuncturists have learned it and use in their toolbag. S. Feinberg, D.C. Guest guest
The late DiSiena DC of Eugene was really into it. Guest guest
Thanks Les. I ran into it when someone wanted to go an acupuncturist and they mentioned the person near them did NAET ,or so their website said. So I looked it up and was confused. sharron Re: NAET Hi Sharron, I practiced it for 12 years until 10 years ago. Did a couple of presentations at their yearly convention.
