Hi , our son is in 9th grade, since entering middle school, which is 2 yrs

into being diagnosed with CMT, has provided the school with a note from

his neruo doctor stating that has CMT and can do as best he can but must

rest when tired and not over do it. Every year the school has required an update

which is no problem. Our son has also had knee surgery which kept him out

complete for a few months, and in that case, the school made arrangements for a

2nd set of books for home and someone to help carry his things to class since he

was on crutches. They excused him 5 mins ahead of others so he could get walking

to the next class and not be late. I couldn't have asked for a more cooperative

school. September we start high school so I'm hoping it remains this way.
