Kelli- I don't know of any direct relationship between CMT and

learning disabilities. I do know, since my own CMT has worsened, I

have less energy that sometimes translates in to forgetfulness and

lacking mental sharpness.

Also, girls tend to get over-looked in the ADHD department, because

they don't have the hyperactivity component as much or as severely.

Whether it is that or another learning disability, consider having her

tested. If your insurance won't cover it to have it done privately,

her school should be able to do some testing. If her CMT is

significant or is worsening, consider that, as well, as a contributing

factor.

In any event, advocate for her. Your involvement will help ensure the

school will do what it is supposed to do.
