Guest guest
Yes Joe--I know what you mean. Those cramps are awful! Some times I get them and it makes me jump out of bed to walk around. I don't have them all the time, and I have no clue what triggers them at times and not at others, but you're right, they are very distrubing to your sleep pattern. Maybe the tonic water like Gretchen suggested might help. I don't usually try to do anything for them as I get them infrequently. Good luck with that. Guest guest
Hi Cris, I'm catching the last part of this conversation, but I'm also getting a bad charleyhorse every night now in my left leg on the upper half. I have to put my leg against the wall and press hard to get it out. I never associated these cramps with CMT. I've been eating bananas but that's not cutting it. I'm going to try the quinine pills. Are they hard to get? When you say you wish you had no feet, I sometimes feel like I'm walking on stumps. And at night if I think too much I get myself into a frenzy worried that someday I might have to run across the street and my nightmare is I fall down and get hit by a car. Thus, the moral of my story is, " MAKE SURE THERE IS NOOOOO TRAFFIC COMING!!, YOU BIG DUMMY YOU " !! (talking to myself of course)....Sometimes I crack me up!!! Guest guest
I know that EXACT feeling. I have it very seldom, but it is very irritating. I usually beg my husband to rub them for me. LaDonna
