Hi Betty,

When is your next surgery scheduled for??? If you've said I have forgotten, sorry, this memory of mine is getting worse for short term... I write my text so that I can see it :o) The smaller ones I just enlarge so I can read it better :o) Can't please everyone, but I do try...

I like the large print other wise I have to enlarge it before I can comfortably read it. I am having cataract surgery that hopefully will make that not necessary. Even if in the future I don't need the large print I think others will utilize the large print.

I have not seen it on this site but have encountered it on other sites. Certain color combinations make it so that I have to edit it to read, regardless of size. Black and blue on white or light background are best for me.

Thanks for the tip Betty, it worked!!! Good luck on the surgery, I'd rather have a Dr. more cautious than not at all... :o)

Helen,

Thanks for asking. It is not until the 17th of next month and right now I am far from being a happy camper. I had a ptergium on each eye which had to be removed first. This doctor works slowly and from what I hear he is very cautious. He will not work on both eyes in less than 2 months so it is being a long process. Those done I had the first cataract done about a month ago and the other one is scheduled for the 17th of next month.

Judging by what I see happens with other people I am having exceptional problems. He removed cataracts from my husbands eyes and he really waited a long time in between without it being too hard on him. He did not even get reading glasses until after the 2nd one. I tell him I know he doesn't have the problems as I do as he has continued to read the newspaper without aids as well as many other written things.

I believe that I should be functioning better than I am. I do bookkeeping for our small business and I am so slow at this pace come the end of the year I will be far from closing out the year. I have not been officially told but I think I must have a lot of scarring on the corneas. The ptergiums had warped, for the lack of a better word, that is causing problems there. Anyway I sure will be glad when this is over and I hope all ends well.

In case readers might now know this here is a tip. On the web some, sure wish it was all, can easily change size by holding the control key and turning the wheel on the mouse.
