Guest guest
Joana, I'm glad you asked me a question, but I'd appreciate it if you posted any further questions to the group for all to see, in case other people have the same question. AFO stands for Ankle Foot Orthotic, they are custom made by an Orthotist, a specialist in corrective equipment. I was referred by my Neurologist and also by MDA clinic. They differ from insoles or regular Orthotics in that they support the ankle, and in my case keep it from rolling out. I have a web page with hotos of my AFOs, you can check it out here: http://www.geocities.com/macheadma/afo/afo.html Hope that helps, - P.S. you can search the posts for more information, I know that AFOs have been discussed at length before. I signed up to have the email digests sent daily, so I can search them offline too.
