Hunzas, who engage in demanding physical labor all morning long on an empty

stomach.

if you are sedentary like most Americans the carbs will nail you, I said this in

the original post.

Dont compare yourself to a Hunza, they need the carbs

It was an accidental discovery, regardless how much it doesn't make sense at

first,

but this group of diabetics was forced to be on carbs diet because they didn't

have a choice, their kidneys were failing:

Your pancreas will not overproduce insulin if there is not too much fat in your

blood stream.

Fat acts as a barrier that shields the glucose so the insulin can't get to it.

No matter how much insulin you have in your blood if you have fat in your blood

you are going to test

diabetic.

Did you read about Hunza's diet, it's almost all grains, and they live till 140,

and capable making babies at age 90

You can get a DVD from library " Taking control of diabetes " by Dr. Barnard,

read the summary here, as you can see it's all carbs (starches) diet:

Many centenarians

like eating oatmeal every morning. Raw vegan

Wolfe mentioned in one of his talks recently that he interviewed dozens

of centenarians and they all eat oatmeal in the morning.

carbs mske you hungry

you need carbs for hard physical work but most people get little activity

grains are promoted because they have good shelf life and the markup is

enormous.

diabetes is common in grain eaters

It's funny... those are the carb-laden foods that made me fat, and it was by NOT

eating them that I was able to lose the weight.

I often train for a marathon the first thing in the morning, on an empty

stomach. I will run or walk for several hours without eating anything.

This trains my body to get into fat-burning mode. Although one's glucose stores

are limited, even the thinnest people have a great deal of stored fat available

for energy.

I have run the marathon (or further) 159 times and I rarely eat pasta.
