foot sugery in Philadelphia

Hi Gretchen,

Would like to dig inside your wealth of knowledge if you don't mind. Our son is

ready for surgery on his feet/ankles. We have had two opinions and both state

the same, its just a matter of when wants to have it done.

Well, as a parent my biggest worry is that we choose the correct doctor with the

most knowledge and success rate for this type of surgery. Our Insurance company

tells me that they would just give me the name of a surgeon close to where we

live. My son's regular doctor and I agree that that is not the best way, we need

someone knowledgeable in CMT. We live in the Philadelphia area. Could you ask if

anyone in our great CMT group has had surgery in PA and if so, would they

recommend a doctor. Our son is just shy of 16.
