Diet to fight Diabetes:

The plant-based foods are the most recommended diet for diabetes.

Diabetes diet is called for control of carbohydrates intake and

calories restricted diet portions. The plant-based foods diet are low

in fats and considered as an ideal diet for diabetes, so it keeps the

health disorders such as weight gain or obesity, high blood pressure,

high cholesterol, heart disease and diabetes at bay.

Adding too much of refined cereals, pulses, grains and highly processed

foods such as white flour, white rice and animal products like red meat

in the diet could increase the risk of type 2 diabetes, that is

spreading like an epidemic around the world. Nutritionists and Doctors

recommend the diet for diabetes, that includes plant based foods such

as delicious unprocessed or partly processed foods like oats, rice,

pasta, potatoes, leafy green vegetables and fruits.

Let us discus the diet to fight diabetes; the new approach is to

eliminate animal based foods, oils, fatty foods, and dairy products,

but to include low fat vegetarian diet and whole carbohydrate foods in

the diet to fight diabetes. According to the study, 21 out of 23 on oral

medications for diabetes and 13 out of 17 on insulin medication are

able to get off their medicines for diabetes, after they have taken

fully vegetarian and plant-based foods and exercise programs for 0ne

month period under the supervision of dieticians or Doctors.
