Guest guest
Interesting. I had not heard of them. It appears that they eat a CR diet....nutrient dense, low calorie. And they live in a clean environment. Guest guest
What is your point? The Hunza's bread is made using glacier milk. Perhaps that (and many other factors) lead to their longevity. Anyone here following the Hunza lifestyle? If it results in a long life, then why not? > > if it's bad for us ALL, then why the longest living people eat gluten every day, read about Hunza, obviously it's not bad for them. > http://thepdi.com/hunza_health_secrets.htm
Guest guest
My understanding is that gluten today is not like the wild gluten of years ago, which is why so many adverse health effects are caused by today's gluten, I know that that amount of gluten in foods today is a great deal more then the amount in natural plants originally. Wheat in particular has been altered a great deal - my understanding is that it used to be very rare for people to be allergic to wheat but it has become very common now. And many are senstive to gluten and/or wheat today just are not symtomatic but that does now mean that gluten is not still doing damage to their body. There are evidently many illnesses and adverse health effects caused by gluten today that many people are not aware of............. Eating Gluten Kills What is Gluten History Gluten and Digestion Effect of Gluten Coating Signs of intolerance The Remedy The Results Overcome Glutens Effects Gluten free food list Useful Links Acknowledgements http://www.iamm.com/gluten.htm The Dark Side of Wheat The remainder of this article will demonstrate the following adverse effects of wheat on both celiac and non-celiac populations: 1) wheat causes damage to the intestines 2) wheat causes intestinal permeability 3) wheat has pharmacologically active properties 4) wheat causes damage that is " out of the intestine " affecting distant organs 5) wheat induces molecular mimicry 6) wheat contains high concentrations of excitoxins. Loss of kidney function may only be the " tip of the iceberg, " when it comes to the possible adverse effects that wheat proteins and wheat lectin can generate in the body. If kidney cancer is a likely possibility, then other cancers may eventually be linked to wheat consumption as well. This correlation would fly in the face of globally sanctioned and reified assumptions about the inherent benefits of wheat consumption. It would require that we suspend cultural, socio-economic, political and even religious assumptions about its inherent benefits. http://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/dark-side-wheat blessings Shan > > if it's bad for us ALL, then why the longest living people eat gluten every day, read about Hunza, obviously it's not bad for them. > http://thepdi.com/hunza_health_secrets.htm > Â > Â > > > ________________________________ > From: stardora <stardora@...> > Undisclosed-Recipient@... > Cc: Longevity > Sent: Thursday, February 9, 2012 6:15 PM > Subject: Gluten: bad for us all! > > > Â > Gluten: bad for us all! > Post date: > Sunday, January 22nd 2012 at 11:00 am by Sayer Ji > > http://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/gluten-bad-us-all > >
