Okra is one of the most popular vegetable all over the world, and called

by different names in various parts of the world, like lady's

finger, bhendi, bhendakaya, gumbo, and belongs to the mallow family

group of plants, botanically known as Abelmoschus Esculentus. Okra

plants are commercially cultivated throughout the world in the

temperate and tropical regions, and the plant produces many matured and

edible fruit pods in just 40 to 60 days, which are dark green in color,
