Marti,

Statisticians can make the kinds of comparisons reported in the study

about childbirth complications. The results are legitimate. Whether

they apply to people in other countries would be an appropriate

question to ask and new studies might be carried out, for instance in

Canada or the United States. That would lend more support to the

suggested hypothesis, that there is a relationship between CMT and

birth complications.
