Hi, Sharon,

You will find this group very helpful I am sure. I also work in a

public library - in a suburb of Chicago. What do you at the library?

I wonder if the library wouldn't make accomodations for you, even if

you do (such as at the circulation desk, etc.) Perhaps a tall chair or

something? In Illinois we have to make any possible accomodations for

people. Did the library promise to hold your job for you? Best of
